Bob Sapp Post fight Blog
Posted On 07/03/2009 16:02:20 by BobbyLashley

It is nice to be home!!!  I am going to spend some time with my family, and also take a couple days to enjoy my victory against Bob "The Beast" Sapp.  I hope everyone who saw the fight enjoyed watching my hard work pay off.  My fight game is getting better every time, and I feel like my skills are getting sharper.  I will be back in the gym soon working hard and getting ready for the next step.  Plans are already in the works for my next fight, so stay tuned for that big announcement!!!!!

Today however, I would like to speak briefly about a question that gets asked of me every time I do an interview.....do I think it is possible to continue to train MMA and work in professional wrestling??? The simple answer is...........yes.  Just like any other fighter who holds down a 9 to 5 in a different profession, I don't see why I cannot do the same.  There are a lot of fighters, who have more fights than I do, who continue to have a "day job."  There is no question about their commitment to MMA, and there should never be a question as to mine, and to my fighting career as a whole.  There is no fighter who works longer hours and prepares harder for a fight than Bobby Lashley.  Don't take that for being cocky, just understand that when I set my mind to something, I believe I can achieve it!!  With that being said, I will always love professional wrestling and be grateful for all it has made me, and given the right opportunity........I would do the two simultaneously with great success!!!  I consider myself fortunate to have the opportunity to do both.

I also want to remind everyone to look into a new product I have been using called Recovery X.  You can go to www.bobbylashley.net and click the Recovery X link to learn more about this great product and you can order directly from the company.

Finally, I want to thank all my fans again for their support!!! Keep the emails and letters coming.....and keep checking out www.lashleynetwork.com to see whats next!!!!!!

Congrats on your victory, good strategy to take him down keep him on his back and wear him out. Who's next? I think they should try to get you a fight with Brett Rogers, he's coming off a big win and would really help you climb the ladder if you could beat him  convincingly. Looking forward to your next fight no matter who it is.Best of luck to you and keep improving you can be the best in the world if you want it

Maybe you could talk to Sapp about going into TNA.  It would be a great use of some of his talents.  He has charisma and is a very likable fighter.  It would also create a good illusion of reality for TNA that would be great for the business.

I was pretty sure you were going to win that fight.  Sapp, however, is no slouch and has won against many skilled opponents in both K1 and Pride.  This shows that it was a very good victory.  Congratulations.

Hey as a lover of wrestling since the age of 5 and a mma fighter lover before UFC got big, I love watching you do both.  I enjoy watching you and so do alot of college guys I talk to.  I saw the blog and asked about twenty or so guys at UT Dallas, where I go, and I didnt hear anyone say anything negative.  most agreed that if thet both pay well then go for it while you can and then they started trying to get free tshirts out of the converstaion.  Silly little college kids hahaha.  Anyways stay strong..
